Art Licensing

Are you looking for ways to make your products more unique and interesting for your customers? Then you're on the right place! Vision Grasp Art studio works with all kind of businesses and brands to bring your ideas to life and blend your products with our designs.

See something you are interested in purchasing or licensing?

If you're interested in an existing artwork and design you can buy it using an exclusive or non-exclusive license. If you have your own idea you can seek a custom design.

If you are one of those big retailers and brands I am always happy to be approached with your contract terms and pricing offer.

Licence

A license is simply the permission I give you to use my art work and to define the boundaries of how you may use my work. Licensing means, renting a commissioned (or pre-existing) design or illustration for a specific purpose, for a specific period of time and following specific geographical limits. Simply put licensing means that you pay for what you need.

License Fee

The license fee depends on the type of license, design complexity, the intended use/volumes of end product, the industry, the brand size and the duration of the license etc. If you want to sell products with my illustration or design on it, licensing can take the form of royalties or a flat fee (agreed upfront). Licensing details will be written in a contract (The License Agreement)

Non-Exclusive and Exlcusive

A non-exclusive license means that anyone can licence the work from the artist at any given time.

Exclusive license means that no one else can use that image while your licence lasts. This type of license costs more than a non-exclusive license.

The image and copyright still belongs to the artist (Vision Grasp Art).

Copyright

Copyright is who owns the reproduction rights to the work. Copyright automatically belongs to the creator unless it is transferred and stated in writing.

Buyouts

If you want to use one of the illustrations or designs without restrictions then this is the best option for you. The licensing fee, in this case, will be much higher than a standard, limited licensing. Copyright still belong to the artist!

Collaborations

Collaborating with other like minded brands is always exciting and interesting. I collaborate with small and large business alike. If you have an idea you would like to bring to life and think my illustrations and styles would be a great match for your brand send me an email including a little bit about yourself, your plan and we'll talk about the details.
